2018 has got off to a positive start for Saville House. The night before I got married, Good Business kick-started the year by winning the 6 furlong Handicap at Chelmsford under Adam Kirby for new owners to the yard, Front Runner Racing (11/01/2018). Just four weeks later (08/02/2018) over course and distance and under Kirby again, she quickly made it two from two for the yard. She continues to thrive and we are certainly looking forward to a summer campaign with this promising and improving filly.
Captain Pugwash has been a bit unlucky throughout last season having been 2nd on three occasions before winning in late December. He followed up on this win with victory at Chelmsford on 31/01/2018 in the 1 mile 2 furlong Handicap under his regular rider Liam Keniry in the colours of Miss A Jones. We look forward to seeing him out again towards the end of February.
Natalie Express arrived to Saville House last year from France with a lot of problems. But we finally ironed those out and she got off to winning ways on 21/01/2018 at Lingfield in the 7 furlong Fillies’ Handicap. We then stepped her up in trip to 1 mile around Lingfield where she finished a very promising third. She will have a little break now and be rejuvenated for a summer campaign.
Folie Douze is a lovely horse and he got his career off to a winning start at Lingfield on 10/02/2018 when landing the 6 furlong Novices’ Stakes for Dethrone Racing. He’s a horse that shows a lot of promise and we are looking forward to the future with this guy.
